The association

On Sept 15, 2015, some friends and I founded the association called “Surya Kiran – a sunray for children”. Its name is coming from the Sanskrit words for sun (surya) and ray (kiran). It symbolizes our support for needy Nepalese children. The association takes part in the setting and maintenance of the children’s home ‘Surya Kiran’ which is looked after by Anupendra Acharya or his deputy. The association also sponsors schooling of SDB children in different ways.
